Body Hardener (身体硬質化, Karada kōshitsu-ka) is a Nature ÄRM that hardens one's body. It is often favored by body-builder type warriors, and can come in two different accessory forms: a bracelet or a ring.
History
Body Hardener is first shown in bracelet form being worn Orco, who confronts Nanashi and Dorothy in the cave of Vestry's Underground Lake. Orco throws a punch downward at Nanashi, only to miss and smash the ground instead due Nanasi dodging. Thanks to Body Hardener, Orco's fist is unharmed by the impact. He then grabs smaller rocks made from the impact and chucks them at Nanashi, but his quick (yet frantic) movements leave him unscathed. After interrogating Orco for information regarding who was responsible for the attack on Vestry, Nanashi tells the brute that the cave would be his grave, causing him to angrily throw another punch. Nanashi effortlessly stops Orco's fist with the palm of his hand, shocking Dorothy with his immense physical strength. He then jumps up and punches him back in the face, declaring him to be weak.
Body Hardener is seen again in the first round of the War Games in ring form, in which Garon wears five rings on his left hand. In addition, he also wears five rings on his right hand, each of which are the Nature ÄRM, Stronger Body. His opponent, Ginta Toramizu, attacks first using Babbo, Version 1: Hammer ARM. Ginta charges in and strikes him repeatedly on Garon's body and head with absolutely no effect. Garon hits Ginta with a single punch that sends him flying across the ring and reveals the ÄRM he's using. Ginta then reveals the next form he's given Babbo, Version 2: Bubble Launcher, and fires several Babbo shaped bubbles at him. They all impact Garon and explode on contact. Garon is surround by flames but only scraped up at the most from the attack. He then closes the distance between him and Ginta and delivers a punch that lands Ginta flat. Ginta gets back up and uses Babbo, Version 3: Gargoyle. Garon smiles as it looks like he gets to overpower a Guardian. Gargoyle launched a punch but Garon blocks it and seems to hold his own as the arena cracks beneath his feet. Despite Garon's effort, Gargoyle overpowers him and all ten of his Body Hardener and Stronger Body ÄRMs crack and shatter.
