Bellini (ベリーニ, Berīni) is a character that appears in MÄR Heaven: KNOCKIN' ON HEAVEN'S DOOR. An apprentice chaser from Caldea, she sets up a shop near Vestry to offer her services to Ginta and his friends.

Appearance

Bellini is an adorable girl with lavender hair and a yellow hair tie and bow. Her game portraits show her to have teal eyes, but her game sprite depict violet. She wears a black and white Lolita dress with a collar bow the same color as her hair.

Personality

Bellini ends her sentences with "non." Despite her cute appearance, she has a foul mouth and can be aggressive in her speech.

Etymology and Origin

Bellini is an Italian name that's diminutive of "belli" (the plural of bello that means beautiful). In this latter case, bellini means "carini" (pretty). It is especially used as term of endearment. Bellini can be both a given name and a surname.

History

MÄR Heaven: KNOCKIN' ON HEAVEN'S DOOR

While chasing after a mysterious boy who headed into a cave, Ginta, Babbo, and Jack discover three doorways within the lit cave. They turn to the right and see Bellini at her stall, where she observes them. Dumbfounded by an adorable girl randomly taking up a corner of the cave for space, Ginta notices the sign next to her stall that states the metal engraving services. Bellini affirms his observation, and asks Ginta if he's with the Chess Pieces. Ginta denies this, stating that he's fighting against the Chess instead. She concludes that Ginta is thus a customer, and explains her business to him.

A short time later, after Ginta, Babbo, and Jack go into the Altar Piece door, Dorothy wanders into the cave looking for them and excitedly senses treasure. She notices Bellini staring at her from the stall, and hurries into Altar Piece to catch up with Ginta.

Nanashi decides to join up with Ginta and the others in the cave as well, and is surprised as he never knew such a place existed in Vestry. He notices Bellini, and Ginta explains she's a chaser. Nanashi awkwardly says hello to her but is caught off-guard when she responds back, confused by her speech. Bellini tells Nanashi that his weird way of speaking pisses her off. Ginta insists that they just go into the next altar door. Nanashi mutters that Bellini was still watching them, but Ginta tells him to ignore her.

Alan and Alviss join Ginta's group at last as they decide to confront Marl, and Alviss is shocked to see Bellini. Alan states that she's apparently a chaser, and Alviss is amazed that the metal engraving occupation had progressed to the point where chasers could be young girls. Angrily, Bellini hollers at Alviss, demanding he come closer so she could punch him. Snow assures Alviss not to worry, but he has his doubts.

In-Game

Bellini's role in the game is solely as a commissioned vendor to craft various ÄRMs for Ginta and his friends. To make use of her services, the player must have both materials and passwords for her to craft an ÄRM. The materials are "ÄRM Silver", "ÄRM Gold", "ÄRM Platinum", and "ÄRM Jewel", which can be obtained from treasure chests and enemies. The recipes cannot be obtained without entering a password.

However, the passwords for the goldsmithing recipes cannot be found within the game. They can be found in various publications, such as the card game "MÄR Heaven -THE ÄRM BATTLE-", magazines, or TV information. Also, the password is displayed after clearing "Story Mode", and you can get the recipe password by entering it on the official website.
