"Koyuki-chan and I are connected. I don't know why. It could be a miracle that God performed to show me more about Ginta. Or maybe... Is it because Koyuki-chan and I share similar feelings for Ginta? Feelings...for Ginta."

Snow (スノウ, Sunou) was the Princess of Lestava and the MÄR Heaven counterpart of Koyuki.

Appearance

Identical to Koyuki in appearance, Snow has pale skin, blue hair, and brown eyes.

Personality

Snow is fun-loving and easy-going but can be serious in battle situations, and is notable for the fact that she looks and acts exactly like Koyuki, Ginta's crush from Earth - her own alternate versions, with whom she shares views of each other's world, and an affection toward Ginta Snow was also Ginta's first kiss. She gets jealous whenever Dorothy gets too close to Ginta.

Etymology

Snow is based on the titular princess of the fairy tale, Snow White. Like the Germanic princess she's based on, Snow flees her wicked step-mother and allies herself with seven "dwarves".

History

The Magic Stone containing a fragment of Koyuki's soul.

The Magic Stone containing a fragment of Koyuki's soul.

One night under a full moon, a beautiful witch named Diana who resided in the parallel world of MÄR Heaven became enchanted by the wickedness of Caldea's Orb, the embodiment of human evil in her homeland. Desiring to claim both MÄR Heaven and Earth for herself, she devised a plan that would allow her to reign over both by tearing apart the dimensional walls that separated the two worlds. Following the instructions of Orb on using an ancient spell, Diana sealed a fragment of an unborn baby from Earth into a magic stone. She then secretly traveled to Lestava Castle and snuck into the queen's chambers. She then cast the spell on the magic stone by melting it down as she implanted it into the sleeping queen's womb, who happened to be pregnant at the time. This enchanted magic stone took a fragment of the soul of another and created a clone within the unborn baby it was implanted in. Diana would quickly leave that night, but less than a year later, Princess Snow would be born.

The only princess heir to the crown of Lestava, Snow often had dreams of having a life in another world as an identical girl named Koyuki, where she was best friends with a little boy named Ginta. In spite of her otherwise happy life, Snow yearned to have a friend with whom she could have such a bond with.

When Snow was only four years old, her mother passed away and she was constantly so distraught that everyone found it painful to see her still crying. The king sought a new bride to be a "replacement" mother to his young daughter. After two years of searching, when Snow was six years old, her father met Diana and chose her as Lestava Kingdom's royal bride, as the king fell in love with her beauty and Diana and Snow instantly bonded like a true mother and daughter.

Despite loving her new stepmother, Snow still felt lonely and sometimes cried when alone. One late afternoon, when she was still crying in her room amongst her toys, she heard a voice that asked her to dry her tears and offered a handkerchief. She took it to wipe her face but stood up when she realized that no one was in front of her to have offered it. Suddenly a puff of pink smoke popped out in front of her and Magical Roe appeared, introducing himself to be Snow's jester, caretaker, and friend. He showcased his many skills including juggling and puppetry. He then kneeled down and offered Snow a yellow rose to celebrate their meeting. The two would become close, and Magical Roe taught Snow many things, telling stories of his travels, reading books together, and how to do some of his tricks.

First Great MÄR Heaven War

Two years later, a militant group calling themselves the Chess Pieces declare war against all of MÄR Heaven. Diana took charge of supplying ÄRMs to the newly founded resistance group called the Cross Guard. Diana, her husband, and eight-year old stepdaughter Snow watched as the War Games were held at their castle. No harm fell upon the family, however Snow's servant dog Edward fell victim to a curse cast by Halloween during the final round of the War Games, fusing him with the Cross Guard's second-in-command Alan.

Six-Year Interlude

Snow and Edward flee Lestava Castle.

Snow and Edward flee Lestava Castle.

When the king fell ill, Diana began to show her darker side, constantly ordering more delicacies, ÄRMs, and also began to order Lestava's army to conquer new territory. As more and more suspicious characters developed around Lestava Castle, Princess Snow and Alan sought advice from the castle oracle. Lestava Castle's Oracle tells Snow to leave the castle and assemble a team of seven "dwarves" who would fight back. She and Edward the Dog fled Lestava Castle, and two Rooks, Ian and Loco, were dispatched to chase and recapture her.

The duo headed north and crossed the ocean to the Hild Continent. Snow often spoke of Magical Roe and how hesitant she was to leave him behind at the castle.

While on the run, they were eventually cornered in a vacant castle on Pazurika Island. Before they arrived, she used her Nature ÄRM, Iced Earth, to encapsulate herself in ice and ordered Edward to seek help outside the castle. Ian and Loco arrived with a small group of Pawns, but were forced to wait for Halloween to arrive with a flame Nature ÄRM.

Ginta saves Snow and accidentally kiss.

After Edward was knocked unconscious and switched places with Alan, she was thawed from the ice by Ginta Toramizu when Alan lent him the ÄRM of Flame. Awakening from the melted ice, her eyes locked onto Ginta's as she fell on him and they accidentally kissed. Ginta immediately got back up, overwhelmed with mixed emotions, while Snow looked around and happily greeted Alan (whom she also referred to as "Ed") and thanked him for saving her. Alan corrected her that Ginta was the one who deserves the credit. She glanced back upon Ginta, who was lying on the ground again from utter shock and she remembered the kiss they shared moments prior.

Halloween then arrives and informs Loco and Ian that the mission to capture Babbo and Princess Snow has been aborted, as the Chess Pieces were called to assemble at Lestava Castle for the Second MÄR Heaven War. As Halloween laughs at Ginta being responsible for breaking Ian's arm, Jack yells out that Ginta is a human from a parallel world. Snow, realizing that he was the same boy from her dreams of Koyuki, happily introduces herself to him after the Chess leave.

Ginta falls over in shock once more thinking about the kiss, wondering if it would be considered "cheating" despite his claim that he isn't dating Koyuki. Panicked, Snow hops over to Alan and asks him about the kiss since it was also her first time. Alan jokes that she should give him more as the two children blush over the incident.

With the ice melted, the castle returns to its former state and the group exits outside. The kids properly re-introduce themselves to each other and Alan leads them to their next destination of Pelica Port. Along the way, Jack makes small talk with Snow about how he met Ginta and Babbo, referring to them as 'vegetable thieves', and stating he was travelling with them for the purposes of training. The group takes a quick break at stream and Ginta asks Snow what she would've done if the old man hadn't come back to save her. Snow responds that she just had faith in Ed, before being called back by Alan to continue walking.

Arriving in Pelica Port, they visit a local pub for lunch and Alan questions Ginta on his knowledge of their world and current situation. Snow asks Alan if she could go outside to play with Babbo, and he grants permission so long as she was still within his line of sight through the window. The two check out the box planters of flowers that lined the alleyway. Babbo casually assumes that Snow must have always been surrounded by beautiful flowers. This causes Snow to painfully think of her home for a brief moment before she turns around and compliment Babbo for the flowers that rested on his head. She giggles at a butterfly sitting down on the end of his nose and him bouncing after it after it flies off. The two then head back inside the pub and Alan declares that Ginta, Babbo, and Jack would be joining their party, suggesting that training was in order.

Alan leads them to the woods outside of town to find a suitable location for training. Before explaining what magic power was, he exerted some of his against a pillar, revealing a witch named Dorothy who had been secretly following them since they left the frozen castle. Dorothy immediately flew up to Alan to threaten him if he were to do anything "funny" to Ginta. Snow intervenes to stop a potential fight from starting, desiring peace with Ginta's witchy friend. Dorothy takes notice of Snow's Nature ÄRM at her hip, and sensed that she was a "potential rival" for Ginta's affection. The group parts with Dorothy as they continue deeper in the woods.

Alan finally decides on a spot and continues to explain what magic power is. He gives Ginta three magic stones and calls out to Dorothy, who had still been following them, to come join them. Alan then activates his Dimension ÄRM, Gate of Training, and summons two doors on the ground. Snow, who had been expecting the use of this ÄRM, was the only one who did not scream as she, Ginta, and Babbo fell in one gate while Dorothy and Jack fell in the other.

Upon landing, Snow explains to Ginta that she's visited the Gate of Training several times before. She shows off her Guardian ÄRM, Snowman, whom she refers to as "Yuki-chan", then gives Ginta and Babbo a lesson on ÄRMs. While discussing the types, Snow states that she wants to find a Holy ÄRM that can dispel the curse on Ed and Alan. Ginta motivates her to get stronger with him so they can acquire a Holy ÄRM from the Chess to do so.

Babbo begins to glow and in a trance gives automated instructions to Ginta on how to use the magic stones that he had inserted into the hammer. As Ginta brainstorms on the first ability, he settles on what he refers to as Babbo, Version 1: Hammer Arm. Snow expresses some doubt, finding it to be a little too simplistic, but Ginta argues that it's practical for combat.

Suddenly, four Guardians called Stone Golem appear. Snow tells Ginta that they run loose in the area and that the first trial is real combat. Snow steps forward and demonstrates to Ginta by summoning multiple Yuki-chan to smash each of the Stone Golems. More Stone Golems appear, and Ginta tests out Babbo's new form by smashing the reinforcements. Snow takes notice to Ginta's newfound magic power level steadily rising from previously being zero.

A chain ÄRM floats over to them and activates, summoning the Guardian ÄRM, Merilo, who curtsies while greeting Ginta. Snow explains that Merilo will be their training guide as she guides them to the nearby temple which houses a large tablet known as the Unbreakable Gate. Merilo instructs Ginta that the second trial is synchronizing with his ÄRM, challenging him to destroy the Unbreakable Gate rather than breaking it.

Second Great MÄR Heaven War

Departing from Pazurika Island, Team MÄR head for the Hild Continent, with Dorothy riding her broom and the others on Edward's Dimension ÄRM, Magic Carpet. Snow then listens to Edward's gossip to Ginta about Dorothy's notoriety and how rare it is for a witch to be seen outside of her homeland of Caldea. Dorothy calls out to Edward to question him, and he covers himself by telling her he was complimenting her beauty, which delighted her and fueled her vanity.

As Team MÄR crosses over the northern shores of the Hild Continent, they are attacked from the ground by Luberians led by their boss, Chief Nanashi, believing them to be Chess Pieces, though he later realizes his mistake. Nanashi is quick to befriend Team MÄR, once he becomes excitable at the sight of Snow and a glimpse of Dorothy's exposed legs. He squeals over the two cute girls, voicing his desire to escort them rather than steal from them, before being pulled away by his followers to calm down. Once he is settled, he properly introduces himself and fellow bandits, and invites Team MÄR to tag along with them back to their fortress. Ginta asks for Snow's input, and then accepts. Nanashi uses his Dimension ÄRM, Andata, to warp everyone back to Luberia Fortress.

Nanashi leads Team MÄR into the shambled first main hall and listens to their story. He reveals to them the state of the world. Nanashi also leads them to the cemetery behind the fortress, the graves of which commemorate those massacred by Peta. A bandit comes to inform Nanashi that the town of Vestry was under siege by the Chess. Nanashi then decides to join Team MÄR as the sixth member, and takes them to Vestry, where two Chess Pieces are causing another massacre. The surviving villagers inform them that the two Chess Pieces who attacked them were still there, delving into Vestry's littoral cave that contains an underground lake. Ginta, Babbo, Dorothy, and Nanashi volunteer to go after them while Jack, Snow, and Edward stay in the village to help.

While Jack assisted the farmers with their fields, Snow used her newly acquired Holy ÄRM, Healing Angel, to heal the injured. She grew weary while healing her tenth patient with a broken arm, and Edward urged that she take break. Snow stubbornly refused, saying that if he bothered her about it again she'd freeze him. By sunset, Snow and Jack had finished and met up with their team at the cave entrance. They looked out to the sea to see a ship sailing out from the other end of the cave. The ghost of a sailor girl appears and gives Ginta and his friends her thanks.

War Games

The War Games begin after Snow and her teammates pass the preliminary test.

Ginta told her she didn't need to participate, considering that she could die. She responds to Gina with a slap across the face and threatening to turn him into a Ginta-cicle if he says such things again to her. She exclaims that she's willing to do anything for the people of MÄR Heaven. Ginta tells her he won't try to stop her from participating but makes her promise that she will never give up.

Round 2
Snow lands a punch on Fuugi.

Snow lands a punch on Fuugi.

In the War Games, Snow faces off against Fuugi. Before the match even begins he tells Snow that he expected her to be weak but that he admires her spunk. He immediately actives his Nature ÄRM, Vindälv, and uses his Wind Cutter technique that sends two blades of wind at Snow which she easily avoids. She then activates her own Nature ÄRM, Iced Earth, and launches a series of ice shards at Fuugi. He uses his Tornado technique to protect him and the wall of wind shatters the ice stones into nothing. She runs around him repeating the assault to look for an opening while he focuses on defending with his Tornado. She then runs up to him to impose on his personal space with a grin, following with an immediate punch to the face.

Fuugi puts distance between himself and Snow, but she changes tactics and charges at him with a series of punches and swipes. Unable to defend himself in close combat, he can only evade each swing she makes. He finally manages to lock her fist in with both of his wrists. Sensing potential danger, Snow backs off and the two put distance between each other once more, both becoming increasingly weary.

Fuugi uses another Wind Cutter at the ground between them to form a sand wall that blocks her vision. He emerges from the wall of sand and gets a solid punch on Snow hitting her directly in her stomach sending her flying. She summons her Guardian ÄRM, Yuki-Chan, who safely catches her before she can hit the ground. Snow tells Fuugi she'll never gonna give up. Applauding her resolve but still determined to take the victory, Fuugi manifests four tornadoes to attack Snow on all sides. The tornadoes collide seemingly ending Snow's life and the battle. As the winds dissipate, four smaller snowmen are revealed to have surrounded her and protected her from the devastating winds of Fuugi's attack. Snow thanks the multiple Yuki-chans and dematerializes them to summon a giant Yuki-chan to fall on top of Fuugi crushing him. Fuugi surrenders and Snow is named the victor.

Round 3

Snow participates in the third match of the third round, facing off against Mr. Hook. Before the battle even begins he comments that the battle will be over quickly and Alan agrees saying that Snow can't win this fight. Mr. Hook once again comments that the fight will be over in five minutes and activates his Weapon ÄRM, Screw Saber. Snow activates her Ice Ring and covers her hand in an ice sword and uses it to fend off Mr. Hook's attacks Ginta cheers for Snow and ask Alan "what's with the she can't win crap" to which Alan merely responds that Ginta can't see what's in front of him. Snow looks exhausted and noticing her ice sword melting and breaking from the heat as Mr. Hook ask if she's feeling her limit and commenting that this battlefield is her own personal hell. Alviss points out that because Snow is an ice user, fully synchronizing with her ÄRM in an antithetic environment takes a larger toll on her body and mind and agrees with Alan that she has no chance of winning. Ginta finally understands what Alan meant and yells at Snow that she's done enough and he'll take care of the rest. She looks back at him and recalls Ginta telling her to never give up and she tells him she can still go on.

Ginta and Snow bonding after her loss to Mr. Hook

She undoes her ice sword and comments that she saved enough magic for a final attack. She summons Yuki-chan and has him charge at Mr. Hook for the finishing blow but Mr. Hook smiles saying he was impressed she could summon it but comments he can still summon something better. He activates his Weapon ÄRM, Anger Anchor, and has it land on Snow's Guardian, stopping it in its tracks. Snow collapses from exhaustion and Alviss declares that the results are clear and if her opponent will accept her forfeit. Mr. Hook accepted Alviss' forfeit on Snow's behalf and Ginta ran to her side to check on her wellbeing.

Snow apologized to Ginta for her fatigue, attempting to show pride in that she didn't give up. Ginta realized she forced herself to follow his reckless advice from the night before the War Games began. Alan reminds Ginta that as strong-willed as Snow is, she's still only fourteen years old. Once Pozun declares Mr. Hook the winner, Ginta helps Snow up and carries her back with her arm over his shoulder. Feeling ashamed, Snow asks Ginta if she was a burden to the team. To assure her otherwise, Ginta immediate lifts her onto his back to piggy back carry her, insisting she was no trouble at all. He then asks her to promise that not overdo it anymore if she's unable to win.

Round 4

While the others were training for the fourth round in Gaira's Gate of Traning, Snow had Alan send her into the Training Gate so she can rest up.

She received a new ÄRM when she was visiting Caldea with Team MÄR.

Round 5

Before the first match even starts, Emokis of the Chess steps forward and summons Dandarshia, a giant sword Guardian ÄRM. She begins to ask him who is the fairest in the world, the ÄRM replies Emokis. Then she ask who is better: the "homely" Snow or Emokis, Dandarshia once agrees that Snow is indeed ugly, though his face belies his actual disagreement with the answers he gives. Aggravated by these claims, Snow volunteers to battle first.

The fight begins and Emokis starts by activating her Flower Fortune Bomb ÄRM. Emokis then makes a prediction, Emokis begins plucking the petals off her flower ÄRM calling out ugly and pretty alternating for each petal. As Emokis does this Snow's hair begins falling out. As Emokis pulls off the last petal and says ugly a huge explosions occurs surrounding Snow.

Snow narrowly evading each sword thrust.

Snow narrowly evading each sword thrust.

As the smoke clears Snow is still standing surprising Emokis that her fortune telling bomb didn't work, Emokis assumes because Snow is ugly she must be tough as well. Snow launches a series of ice attacks at Emokis but she dodges all of them, attempting to be elegant while doing so but failing at it. Once again she tells Dandarshia that since Snow is so ugly she must be weak, Dandarshia thinks to himself that Snow is actually very cute. Emokis almost suspects him but lets it go and grabs Dandarshia's hilt and charges at Snow, launching several stabs. Snow avoids them all and summons Yuki-chan and crushes Emokis, unfortunately, Emokis survives and cuts Yuki-chan in half.

Acknowledging Snow's strength, Emokis decides to show Snow more of her strength and activates the ÄRM around her waist, Candy House. A house-sized gingerbread house appears and Emokis begins to devour the house handfuls at a time. As she continues eating, her body gradually becomes larger. Snow charges for an attack but Emokis takes a deep breath and blows her away. Emokis lifts a huge boulder, intending to smash Snow with it. Snow calmly assesses the challenge and takes out a new ring ÄRM from her pocket. Snow begins to gather her magic power at a very quick rate but Emokis responds by throwing the boulder at Snow hoping to smash Snow before she can use the ÄRM. Snow activates her newest Guardian ÄRM, Undine.

Undine smashes the boulder with little to no effort and politely introduces herself to Snow. Her attention turns to Emokis and she giggles at the latter's hideous appearance. Enraged, Emokis asks Dandarshia again who is more beautiful. Dandarshia finally answers honestly, that Snow is the beautiful one. Emokis smashes Dandarshia in a single punch, saying she doesn't need an ÄRM like him as long as she has the Candy House. Undine kindly asks Snow what her orders are, who then tells her to defeat Emokis.

Undine creates a huge spout of water that destroys the Candy House which causes her to once again get angry and charge at Snow. Undine makes a small orb of water to which Emokis ask what could she do with a small thing. Undine launches the orb and it engulfs Emokis' head and stick. Snow realizes that Emokis' power is useless if she's drowning. As Emokis struggles for air, Snow tells her that if she wishes to give up to simply clap her hands. However, she stubbornly refuses to forfeit out of pride as one of the strongest bishops. Eventually, she passes out from lack of air, Undine undoes the water orb, respecting Snow's merciful nature. Emokis falls to the ground, and Pozun declares Snow the winner, earning MÄR the first victory in the fifth round.

Round 6

As the knight enters the battlefield, he removes his cloak and reveal himself, shocking both Snow and Alan. Snow ask why Magical Roe joined the Chess, Magical Roe replies that he never joined the Chess but was always a part of them from the start. Alan notices that because of Snow's connection to Magical Roe that it's gonna be a very difficult fight.

Snow VS Magical Roe

Snow VS Magical Roe

When the match finally gets underway Magical Roe jumps on a ball and announces it as the Weapon ÄRM, Blade Ball, as blades emerge from the sides of the ball as it begins to spin. Magical Roe rolls on the ball and brings the fight to Snow who manages to evade the blades and stay just far enough away that Snow isn't harmed. Magical Roe recalls his Blade Ball and compliments Snows fighting skills and activates his Nature ÄRM, Flare Wheel. Several Rings of fire appear and rush towards Snow but Snow jumps through each flaming ring without any fear or hesitation and activates Icicle to freeze the very flames themselves. Magical Roe once again pulls out a large bubble wand, Nature ÄRM, Bubble Lion, and from the wand emerges a large lion. Snow defends with Iced Earth which launches chunks of ice destroying the bubble beast.

Magical Roe is surprised that all of his attacks at this point have been defeated in one hit. Snow however is breathing heavily. Ginta and Babbo both recognize that Snow is in trouble and Alan agrees telling them that Snows magic is in disarray because Snow doesn't want to fight Magical Roe. Snow in tears tells Magical Roe that she doesn't want to fight. Magical Roe agrees saying he doesn't wish to fight Snow either but it's Diana's orders so Magical Roe must fight.

Magical Roe activates the Guardian ÄRM, Trump Soldier, which summons four metals card soldiers each armed with a different weapon, Magical Roe orders for the to attack. The first Trump Soldier armed with a bow, launches an arrow and strikes Snow in the arm. While two more Trump Soldiers charge in for a close attack. Snow summons several of her Yuki-chan who crush Magical Roe's Guardians.

After Magical Roe's guardians are crushed Magical Roe activates a Unique ÄRM, Mimic Medallion, which copies an opponent's ÄRM. The medallion copies Snow's guardians and traps snow between her own beloved guardians. Magical Roe activates his next Guardian ÄRM, Nightmare. Several balls appear with eyes and razor sharp teeth and launch themselves at Snow, successfully dealing hits. Dorothy not understanding why Snow isn't fully willing to fight Magical Roe ask Alan why that is. Alan explains that Magical Roe was Snow's babysitter and that they were very close. Snow summons her Guardian ÄRM, Undine, to manifest a pillar of water from under Nightmare, tearing the guardian to shreds.

After Snow's attack Magical Roe encapsulates her in a bubble and admits that Diana wanted Magical Roe to capture Snow, not defeat her. Magical Roe and Snow then vanish as Snow cries for Ginta to help her. Pozun declares Magical Roe the winner, but Ginta calls bullshit and tells Team MÄR they are gonna rescue Snow from Lestava Castle but before that can happen Ian attacks Ginta and Pozun tells Ginta and the rest of Team MÄR that if they leave before the final match MÄR will forfeit the match and since Ginta is captain the War Games will be over, forcing the next round to begin.

After the War Games

After The War Games are over, Team MÄR set out to find the King and Queen and rescue Snow, who King and Queen were going to use to open a portal to Ginta's world and take over Earth along with MÄR Heaven.

Magical Roe sacrifices his life to save Snow from the Death Cube. When the Ghost Chess came into view, she along with Team MÄR was captured, but managed to escape with the help of Chaton and Loco.

Just before leaving Pultgayin Island, Snow falls into a trance from a delayed activated charm that Diana had inserted into her ribbon bow. She attempts to use hypnosis on Babbo to erase his memories and steal him away from Ginta. Despite Ginta and the others being successful in stopping her, she falls unconscious and doesn't wake up. Using a psychic machine in Kapel Meister's castle laboratory, Dorothy hooks Ginta and the comatose Snow up so Ginta can enter into Snow's mind.

Ginta learns the truth about Snow.

Ginta learns the truth about Snow.

In her mind, Ginta finds Snow wallowing in despair over her feelings of deep ineptitude, lack of self-esteem, and jealousy of Koyuki. She retreats further back with Ginta chasing after her, confused at seeing projections of Snow's memories featuring him and Koyuki growing up in Tokyo. She tells him the truth about her dreams are in fact Koyuki's memories and vice versa, as they are connected. Snow was jealous that Ginta never relied on her like he always did with Koyuki, and desired to have their radiant relationship. Yet, she felt that no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't "become" Koyuki.

Ginta firmly makes his way to Snow, who lashes out to keep him away by attacking him with all of her ÄRMs. Ginta merely tosses them aside and pushes through. Snow began to cry, and Ginta gently hugs her, assuring her that to him, she is Snow, his precious teammate. She comments that wasn't fair, yet he was so warm to hold. The two then wake up, though Snow has no memory of what happened since she and Babbo went to fetch Dorothy from the castle. Alan convinces her that she merely collapsed from fatigue. Edward pulls out a spare ribbon bow for Snow, as her previous one had been lost in the waves. She asks Ginta if it's on crooked, but is surprised to see him sorrowfully crying. He wipes his tears and assures her it's nothing, keeping the truth he learned of the two girls to himself.

Reuniting with Pano in Acalupa Port, Snow and her teammates go with her back to a vacant cottage she and her family were temporarily hiding in. Pano aggressively eats off of lobster while telling what she knows of the fate of the remaining Chess Pieces. Jack invites Pano and her family to come to his home on Pazurika Island, confident that the people there would accept them. Pano happily accepts Jack's offer, before turning to Snow to inquire if she was feeling well enough to use her ÄRMs.

Suddenly, the weather outside changes, and Leno and Garon return to the cottage injured. Before they can say anything to Pano, their bodies disintegrate into dark matter and evaporate, much to her horror. Nanashi recognizes it as the same way Alan "died". They catch a glimpse of a fiery bird through the open doorway swooping in, and Alviss yells for everyone to get out of the house. The bird sets the house ablaze upon contact. Alviss, Belle, Nanashi, and Snow, make it out relatively unscathed, but Jack and Pano reacted too slowly and were still inside at the moment it went up in flames. Pano had lost consciousness and Jack carried her with her arm over his shoulder as they both faltered on their way outside. Jack then falls to the ground passing out, too, both with minor burns. The rest of Team MÄR is forced to flee from the mysterious masked man that commanded the fire bird, leaving Jack and Pano behind.

The masked man corners them in the woods, and Nanashi takes off his Andata ÄRM, tossing it to Alviss and telling him to take Snow and flee. Alviss picks Snow up and carries her away as Nanashi makes one last stand against the masked man. However, their flight ends up being futile, as the masked man uses a Dimension ÄRM to cause the two to unintentionally run back to where they were before, having already killed Nanashi. Out of desperation and agony, Snow attacks the man with her ice ÄRMs but to no avail, and the man counters by using his magic to levitate Snow off the ground and strangle her. After telling Snow the true about her "creation", he drops her to the ground and has his Phoenix launch a fire ball upon her before she could get up. Alviss rushes to Snow's side and helps her up, taking out his 13 Totem Pole rod to combat. However, the masked man decides to leave, instead.

Alviss warps with Snow and Belle back to Caldea, bringing an unconscious Jack and Pano in tow. Ginta runs to catch Snow as she and Alviss fall to the ground. Ginta holds Snow in his arms and she puts her hand upon his face. As Snow dies, she tells Ginta the truth about herself regarding her link to Koyuki, and with her last breath confesses to Ginta that she is in love with him. Her body disintegrates into dark matter and evaporates, and Ginta screams out her name in despair.

At the end of the anime, Snow and Koyuki became one being in order to give the magic stone that connected them to Ginta to defeat the Orb and ended up staying in Ginta's world to be with him.

Snow's Abilities

Immediately after joining the party, Snow doesn't possess any particularly standout stats; however, both her HP and Magic Power grow rapidly. Once she levels up, she evolves into a formidable character. Since she is capable of wielding numerous ÄRMs designed for HP recovery, she proves to be far more durable than her appearance might suggest—a welcome trait indeed. Her Attack Power growth rate is the lowest among all characters, so it is advisable to focus her combat strategy around the use of ÄRMs rather than direct physical attacks. You should prioritize equipping her with ÄRMs aligned with the Water and Wind elements.

Snow possesses the ability to melt ice formations that block pathways. These passages often lead to treasure chests located just beyond the obstruction.

Standard Attacks & Combos

When wielding the "Ice Ring" Weapon ÄRM—which generates a sword of ice—Snow attacks with a sequence of slash, thrust, and slash motions. Given her short attack range and low base damage output, utilizing ÄRMs to buff her stats is essential if you intend to engage enemies primarily through standard physical attacks. However, her attacks feature minimal recovery lag; provided you can successfully close the distance to your opponent, you can effectively unleash devastating combos.

MÄR Heaven: ÄRM FIGHT DREAM

Snow is a playable character in the second game, with a base stamina of 550 and the Water attribute. Like other playable characters, she has an alternate color pattern that can be selected, but she also has a special costume: A cute, maid-style outfit that exudes a pure, pristine aura. It can be unlocked with the password: PSAX7AY4.

Snow's Initial Abilities

Her standard moves consist of bare-handed attacks that allow her to unleash seamless, continuous assaults. Combined with her exceptional speed, she overwhelms opponents with rapid flurries—so swift that they effectively nullify any incoming attacks. Her heavy attacks, characterized by their sweeping motions, are best utilized for zoning and combo setups. She keeps her opponent off-balance using maneuvers such as side-steps, all while patiently waiting for an opening to strike.

Ice Ring—which resembles an icicle—simultaneously boosts both her attack speed and raw power. When activated, it enables high-hit-count combos that allow her to aim for stunning the opponent; it is best utilized in conjunction with her Special ÄRM. This ÄRM infuses Snow's already lightning-fast bare-handed strikes with sheer offensive power—transforming her speed into devastating force.

Snow is equipped with "Iced Earth," an ÄRM that covers the entire battlefield across all ranges, as well as her Special ÄRM, "Snowman," which allows her to target opponents at mid-range and beyond. This combination offers versatility in both direct and indirect combat, with each ÄRM effectively complementing the other.

Basic Tactics

Close-Range Combat Techniques

Rely primarily on Combo 1 and Combo 2, as they leave you with minimal openings. However, continuously repeating the same attacks invites the opponent to attempt a reversal; therefore, intersperse your offense with Heavy Attacks—specifically the standard Heavy Attack or the Up/Down + Heavy Attack variations—to keep the opponent in check. If the distance between you and your opponent widens, switch to tactics suited for mid-to-long-range combat. Once you have activated *Ice Ring S*, press the offensive with the swift movements of Combo 1 or Combo 2. If your opponent becomes stunned, use *Snowman* to reliably inflict damage and deplete their health.

Unleash a rapid-fire barrage of Light Attacks with such intensity that you deny your opponent any opportunity to counterattack. If your opponent is knocked flying, apply pressure by timing an *Ice Earth* or a Forward-Forward + Heavy Attack to land just as they are recovering from their knockdown.

How to Fight at Mid-to-Long Range

This specific combat range is not your character's strong suit. If a gap opens up between you and your opponent, execute a side-step before closing the distance with a Forward-Forward + Heavy Attack or a standard dash. Alternatively, activate *Ice Earth* and use the opportunity to approach while your opponent is blocking. If *Ice Earth* successfully lands, follow up by pressing the attack with Combo 1 or Combo 2. Incorporating feints—such as a fake Jump + Heavy Attack—or using *Snowman* as a zoning tool will add greater tactical variety to your gameplay.

You may struggle slightly against characters who excel at fighting at this specific range—such as Roland or Ian. While the Forward-Forward + Heavy Attack is a useful tool for closing the distance, avoid simply leaping straight in; instead, use a side-step to observe the situation and gauge your opponent's movements first.

Advanced Tactics

Land a launcher attack as your opening hit, then finish them off with *Iced Earth*. Recommended launcher attacks include Bare-Hand Combos 2 and 3, as well as Combos 2 and 4 while equipped with the *Ice Ring S* ÄRM. You should follow these up with a combo extension or a linked attack using an offensive ÄRM.

You can stun your opponent using the *Ice Ring S* input sequence → Light, Light, Heavy, Heavy; once stunned, it is possible to execute a follow-up chain such as Heavy → Light, Light, Heavy, Heavy → Light, Light, Light, Light. However, since this strategy relies on the opponent being stunned, its effectiveness depends on their elemental attribute.

Snow's Abilities & ÄRMs

Although her physical strength and defense stats are low—making her ill-suited for direct combat—her high Synchronization Rate allows her to activate her ÄRMs with exceptional speed. She specializes in Water-attribute ÄRMs, which are highly versatile, and she also relies on the potent offensive power and healing capabilities of her Non-attribute ÄRMs. She is expected to play a vital role in both offensive and defensive capacities.

In addition to powerful Water-attribute ÄRMs, she skillfully utilizes non-attribute healing-type ÄRMs. Vidro Shoot, a Weapon ÄRM obtained during a mid-game boss battle, is a powerful tool Snow can wield that remains useful all the way through to the final stages of the game.
